Is a winterized pool inspection really going to help?
The simple answer is yes. One of the most costly repairs to a pool is in the structure of the pool. Tile, coping, and plaster on a typical gunite swimming pool, or a liner replacement on a vinyl liner pool can run into the thousands of dollars to repair. Heaters, pumps, and filters can also be costly items.
What is required to get a winterized pool inspection?
The following must be done to ensure that the swimming pool can be inspected in its winterized condition. Of course there are always exceptions to the rules, so it is always best to contact us. We are always interested in doing what is best for our clients.
1) The cover must be free of standing water and debris.
2) The water in the pool structure cannot be frozen.
3) The water in the pool structure must be clear enough to see the deep end floor.
4) There cannot be standing snow on or around the equipment, pool deck or pool cover.
